I find a Green Hodge who appears to be brother of John and Isom from KY and Jane from MO who appear to be the parents of John Hodge in Justice Precinct 1, Cass Co, in the 1900 record. I used just first names and appx birth years and still no result in Cass county nor any county. This method sometimes works when people seem to have difficulty in reading last names for transcription. They just are not listed but most likely in Pct 1 in 1900. One daughter married a Davis appx 1904 had 2 sons. She was born in TX, father MS, mother FL Inez, 14 Crawford, 13 Erben Davis, 5, grandson Hurbert Davis, 4, grandson Hodge's living between William Warren, age 65 of MS and his family and Joseph Warren, age 33 and his family 1910 record.
