My great-grandfather, John Frederick Kasling (24 July 1832, Quellenreuth, Bavaria - 15 Oct 1892, Cass Co., Texas) took out a marriage liense dated 18 Feb. 1891 in Cass Co. to a Mrs. Bettie Lyles (Liles). Does anyone know if John Frederick (Fred) Kasling/Kesling/Kiessling actually married Mrs. Bettie Lyles. I have never been able to confirm this marriage other than the application for the license.
