I have two groups of information. The first is from a pocket organizer and the second is from the family Bible of George Washington Simmons. The following information is from a pocket organizer that belonged to George Washington Simmons, son of David Monroe Simmons and Martha Pitts. The book was handed down to his son David Andrew Simmons, then to his son Billy Charles Simmons and then to me. The information on the family of David Andrew Simmons was added by him. The rest of the information was written by G.W. Simmons. He is buried in the city cemetary in Leonard, Fannin Co. TX. David Andrew and Myra Lois Simmons are buried at Arledge Ridge cemetary which is between Leonard and Bonham, Fannin Co. TX.
