They were listed as Elisha CRISP and Nancy Jane STRAWN. I am wondering if they would have been required to live in Cass Co. in order to get married there. I wonder if perhaps at least one of them was living in Arkansas or Louisiana. I have been trying to find out where they lived before, during, and after their marriage. (I am not 100% sure that I have the right couple.) I do not find them again anywhere until 1870 in Llano Co., TX. E. CRISP is living w/out a wife and with several children, the oldest of whom would have been born @1853. I find Nancy Jane CRISP on the 1870 Fed. Mortality Index. Any observations on where to look next would be appreciated.
