In the 1900 census, James and Mary Daniels are living with her mother, Caroline McDonald. I don't know Caroline's maiden name, but she was married to an Ivy before she married McDonald, and her daughter Nancy Ellafair Ivy married Martin Edward Whatley of Cass County. Mary's father was John H. McDonald, and he was born at sea while immigrating to America around 1852. I don't know a lot about the siblings, and would appreciate any information you might have on Mary's brothers and her sister (Mattie?). Family stories say that her little brother Claud died sometime early in the 1900s when he was run over by a train while playing on the tracks. Thanks, Terry McDonald Turner
