However, we have come to a stand still. Nancy Robinson would be my mothers great great grandmother. Maggie Rogers would be her great grandmother. and Willie would be the grand mother. Nancy Robinson is from Virginia somewhere down the line she moved to Jefferson, Tx. We find some records in jefferson but most in cass tx.Nancy had a daughter name Maggie and Frances we want to know her husband and if there are any more children. Maggie married a man name Jessie Miles but after 1900 we can not find jessie any more, and Maggie got married again to charles or charlie Rogers. Maggie had 6 kids mary miles, jessie miles, angelina or mattie miles, willie miles, do not know the other one. Can you help me with any of these names? and do they have any more children. Willie who is my great grandmother married John Smith had 6 kids James Smith, Joe Smith, Thelma Smith, Helen Smith, Doris Smith, Junie Smith. a! ll or dead but one and that is James Smith.

I have lost all contact with the descendents. There is a Travis Vaughan who lives in Houston, Texas that I have visited. He is a son of Emment..Willie had a son that lived in Texarkana. Most of the children lived in Caddo Parish. My grandmother was Sarah, daughter of Robert Griffen Vaughan. Emment lived around Hughes Springs and Lee lived around Atlanta. Henry married and had at least one child, but apparently divorced, so I know nothing of them. Thanks again for the information.

    2. Hello, I am looking for living descendants of William Hartley CROW born abt 1825 in TN and died aft 1880 in Cass Co, TX. He married Martha A. PARCHMAN on 11 Sept 1856. They had the following children: James F. b abt 1858 William H. b abt 1864 Mary C. b abt 1866 Enoch E. b abt 1868 Elizabeth C. b abt 1871 All children's birth and deaths of William and Martha were in Cass Co, TX. William H. Jr was found in Cass until the 1930 Cass census enumeration. I have proof that William H. CROW was the brother to my James M. CROW and am wanting to look for a male descendant to take a DNA test to match results with the many other CROW lines in the project.

    3. I think you can rule out the Homer McDuff. He is probably Homer McDuffie. The child born 21 Nov 1911 is probably Thomas McDuffie. I have not found a relationship between the McDuffies and the McDuffs. The name of the county was changed from Cass to Davis during the Civil War years and was not changed back till later in the 1870's. Don't remember the date at the moment. You will find it listed as Cass on the 1850, 1860, 1880 and on up. Just the one census taken in 1870 was listed under the name of Davis County. So some of them on the list were in the Cass County area. Hope this helps.
