Hi, I just want to thank those who worked so hard to get the Cass Co Census Images online. I was missing a link with my ancesters and looking at the census I found an answer to one of my family lines. I found my ggrandmother, her parents,(my gggrandparents) and my ggrandmother's siblings. I had just small notes my mother had writtten a few names, pieces of names etc. and with your help I am working on this puzzle with a greater appreciation for ALL THOSE WHO DONATE their time to our genealogy and especially to those of you that worked on the Cass project. In the 1900 census, My gg grandfather was listed. William "Bill" Caldwell, His wife Tiny, my great grand mother Sylverene. Also listed as borders were MARTHA JONES (sister) Lonnie and Ella Edwards (cousins) Mack Mckerly? (nephew) and Fanny Jeffrey (neice) If she was a sister to Bill then Jones may have been a married name unless they had different fathers. It had her birth listed as December 1874, so she was about 25 at the time.

Anyone have any records, in which they might look up a birth date for me for Robert Jones Haywood? He was born in 1877, but need month and year. Thanks, Sallie

William W. was born 30 April 1869 and died 3 Sept 1955 and is also buried at Pine Crest Cemetery. William and Nimie had one daughter, Ruby Thomas. Nimie Barnett Thomas is the daughter of Dr. W.H. Her husband left her with 3 small daughters & headed to CA & was never heard from again. Her daughters were Georgia (Faulkner/Felker), Della (Burks) & Addie (Golden). Addie was married to Walter Leroy Golden. (she died at the age of 30). I am trying to find her fathers given name. Also, am trying to find any information on the Golden Family.......there were several from the Cass Co. Mims Chapel, Hughes Springs, Sardis area! My ggrandfather was William Waymond Golden b.abt 1854. He married Virginia Hudson.Please email me if you have any information on him, or on the McCloskeys. Thanks...gail winfield
