    3. The Brownsville Herald - Online Edition Obituaries, June 21, 2006 FRANCISCO JAVIER LOYA, 42, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2006 at his residence in Brownsville. A chapel service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Committal service to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, 125 McDavitt Blvd. (956) 541-5400. FEDERICO ADAN ATKINSON Federico Adan Atkinson, 43, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, after a brief illness in Houston, Texas. Federico will be dearly missed by his father, Federico Atkinson, and his mother, Yolanda Benavidez; brother, Arnold; sister, Betty. His love and joy for life will be lacking from his nephews, Arnold Joe, Roland, Federico, and Arnold Jr.; nieces, Heather Nicole and Hilary. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2006 at Christian Discipleship Outreach, 351 Los Ebanos in Brownsville. A private graveside service for family members and close friends will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2006, at Buena Vista Burial Park. In lieu of floral offerings donations maybe made in name of the family to the American Cancer Society. MARGARITA LOPEZ SALDIVAR Margarita Lopez, Saldivar, 34 years old, entered into eternal rest with the Lord Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. She was a life-time resident of Brownsville and graduated from Porter High School. Her favorite pass time was reading, decorating and listening to country music. Margarita was always the leader and planner for the whole family. Mrs. Saldivar was preceded in death by her mother, Maria de los Angeles G. Martinez and one brother, Dionicio Rivas. Left to mourn her death and forever cherish her memory are her husband, Rosalio Saldivar; her 1½-year-old son, Sebestain Alejandro Saldivar; father, Heriberto Lopez; seven brothers and sisters, Jesus Guadalupe (Teresa) Rivas, Sonia Leticia (Jose) Suarez, Pedro (Mari Cruz) Lopez, Nora Elva (Fidelino) Hernandez, Heriberto (Eulalia) Lopez, San Juanita (Pedro Enrique) Mena, Paulita Martinez and numerous other relatives. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2006. A private burial will follow at a later date.
