PEDRO 'PIE' GRACIA Pedro Gracia, affectionately known as "Pie," entered into eternal rest with the Lord at his residence on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the age of 57. He was a very lovable per-son who enjoyed fishing, dancing, and playing guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joaquin and Genoveva Olivarez Gracia, and by a brother, Joaquin Gracia, Jr. Mr. Gracia is survived by his sisters and brother: Genoveva (Joe) Gracia, Ninfa Gra-cia, Ofelia G. (Eleno) Deanda, and Guadalupe (Rosa) Gracia. Survivors also include his nephews: Guadalupe Jr. and Arnoldo Gracia, Javier and Eleno Deanda, and Rudy and Gerardo Gutierrez; his nieces: Nora Gonzalez, Sylvia Lopez, Juanita Alejandro, and 24 second nephews and nieces, in addition to many other family members. Visitation will begin today, Monday, March 20, 2006 after 10 a.m., with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. FAUSTINA BARRIOS Faustina Barrios, 69, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Valley Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her father Faustino Barrios. Faustina is survived by her mother Eugenia Barrios, daughter Alicia Garcia, brothers Antonio (Antonia) Barrios and Rafael (Maria) Barrios. Sisters Juanita Barrios, Tomasa (Alfredo) Fernandez, Guadalupe (Feliciano) Alvarado, Rita (Ernesto) Garcia, Cleofas (Salvador) Amaro, Maria (Guadalupe) Limon, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Visitation was held Saturday and Sunday with a 7 p.m. rosary on Sunday. Chapel serv-ice will be held today Monday at 2 p.m. at Treviño Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Santa Rosalia Cemetery. She had been a Brownsville resident most of her life. Ofelia was preceded in death by her husband, Mario Cordero, and two daughters, Paula Garcia and Maria Aldama. She is survived by four sons, Mario Cordero, Jr., Jaime Cordero, Genaro Cordero, and Bonifacio Cordero, Sr.; three daughters, Bertha Noriega, Alma Cordero, and Flora Cordero; a sister and a brother; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and other relatives. Visitation will be held today, March 20, 2006, from 2-9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. Fu-neral services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Sanchez all of Brownsville TX; his parents, Cipriano Sanchez Del Angel and Esther Rocha Rivera, two brothers, Jose Sanchez, Francisco Sanchez and three sisters, Lydia Sanchez de Rodriguez, Rosalva Sanchez de Reyes and Clara San-chez all of Matamoros, Tamp., Mexico and numerous nieces and nephews.
