ROMANITA SALINAS Our beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Romanita Salinas, entered into the loving arms of our Lord and Savior at the age of 60 years at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas on Monday morning April 3, 2006. She was born on September 14, 1945 in Ciudad Del Carmen, Campeche Mexico to Alfonso Uribe and Maria Barrera de Uribe. Her mother, grandson, and great-grandson, preceded her in death. Left to mourn her death and forever cherish her memory is her loving family. Her husband of 44 years of marriage, Jose Reyes Salinas; six children, Rosalinda (Carlos) Mendez, Letty (Gustavo) Martinez, Jose (Adalia) Salinas, Nelly (Jaime) Hernandez, Norma Iliana Salinas, and Malu Salinas; one brother, Humberto Alfonso Uribe; four sisters, Rosa Gracia, Maria Del Carmen Cruz, Maria Elena Aguirre and Marbella Muñoz; 13 grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. Visitations will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., today, Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at Guerra Funeral Home "Chapel of the Arch Angels". Treviño, 89, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest at Ebony Lake Nursing Center on Monday, April 3, 2006. She was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico on March 17, 1917. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Leonardo E. Treviño of Brownsville; two sons, Leonardo G. (Maria Guadalupe) Treviño of Brownsville and Daniel G. (Blanca) Treviño of Chicago, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Daniel Treviño of Chicago, Ill., Kathy Knippen of Dallas, Texas, Sarah Treviño and Norma Treviño, both of Chicago, Ill., Leonardo A. Treviño of Mansfield, Texas, Linda Treviño of Chicago, Ill., Suzanne Halaska of Mansfield, Texas, Rosemary Ryback of Plainfield, Ill. and Ricardo Antonio Treviño of Chicago, Ill. Antonio Garcia, Jr., 61, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville, Texas. Mr. Garcia worked with BISD maintenance for 26 years and was a member of Word of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Santos Lesa Garcia and Antonio Garcia; his brother, Gilberto Garcia; and his sister, Guadalupe Garcia Salinas. He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita L. Garcia; children, Carmen Gonzalez, Salome Garcia, Isidro Garcia, Antonio Garcia III, Isaias Garcia, Evangelina Lopez, Gilberto Garcia, and Norma Delgado; brother, Eduardo Garcia of San Antonio, Texas; sisters, Juanita Villarreal of San Antonio, Texas and Francisca Lopez of Brownsville, Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Among the survivors are his sisters, Margarita Fuentes, Guadalupe Dueñes, Delia Dueñes, Julia Mariscal, Silvia Mata all of Brownsville, Texas; grandchildren, Lynda, Krystal, Jose Rosas Jr. of Brownsville, Lucia G. Perez, Rocio Perez, Celso Antonio Perez of Matamoros, Tamaulipas and numerous nieces and nephews.
