FOUND, 58, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Valley Grande Manor Nursing Center. Visitation and cremation were held on Thursday, March 24, 2006. DEBORAH 'DEBBIE' ANN RODRIGUEZ Deborah "Debbie" Ann Rodriguez, 53, was called to her heavenly home by our Heavenly Father on March 22nd of the year 2006. Debbie was born January 10, 1953, in Dover, New Jersey, to Walter and Helen Marie Crews. The family later moved to Brownsville, Texas, where she lived most of her life and met Silvestre Rodriguez. They were married in September of 1971 and shortly after left to go overseas with the military. Upon returning to the States, they made their home in Brownsville, Texas, where they raised two children, Melissa R. Rodriguez and Christopher S. Rodriguez. Debbie was a homemaker and her true passion in life was for her children and grandchildren whom she loved infinitely. Her last days were lived out in Grand Junction in the love and care of her children and grandchildren. Debbie's call home was preceded by her mother, Helen Marie Crews; sister Jamie Lou Crews; and brother David Allen Crews. Debbie is survived by her father, Walter Crews, and stepmother Celia Crews of Brownsville, Texas; sisters Robin Crews, Debbie Crews, Linda Crews and Cindy Crews Valles of Houston, Texas; and brother Billy Crews of Brownsville, Texas. She is also survived by her two children, Melissa (Michael) R. Chavez of Grand Junction, Colo., and Christopher S. Rodriguez of Houston, Texas. She leaves behind her two precious grandchildren who will miss her the "mostest," Christian D. Chavez and Hailey A. Chavez, both of Grand Junction, Colo. Debbie is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Debbie will be greatly missed by her family and those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Saturday, March 25, 2006, with graveside services by Pastor Kenny Long to follow at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery at 11 a.m. Funeral Services have been arranged by Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colo., 81505, (970)243-2450. JESUS R. YANEZ Jesus R. Yanez, 76, passed away on March 23, 2006, at Valley Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Madrid, Spain. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Maria Yanez and Maria Del Carmen Ruiz de Yanez; and one brother, Francisco Yanez. Mr.Yanez is survived by his wife, Alicia Masso de Yanez; children Felipe Jesus Yanez (Rocio), Carmen Rodriguez (Arnaldo), Javier Yanez (Judith), Gerardo Yanez (Claudia) and Ceasar Yanez (Alejandra). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, two brothers, one sister and many other relatives. Visitation was held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2006, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Visitation will resume at 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2006. A Mass or Resurrection will follow the visitations at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
