    3. The Brownsville Herald - Online Edition Obituaries, April 21, 2006 JOHN ALTON GLOOR, 50, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday April 20, 2006, in Brownsville. Funeral arrangements are pending under Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd., (956) 546-7111. ALEJANDRO ESQUIVEL Alejandro Esquivel, 85, passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2006, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. He was born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, on July 17, 1920. He worked for the Coca-Cola Company as a repairman for 36 years. He also served in the Army and was honorably discharged. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vicente and Ricarda Rodriguez Esquivel; a brother, Juan Esquivel; three sisters, Rosa E. Alaniz, Antonia E. Danache and Mariana Esquivel; and son Juan Esquivel. Mr. Esquivel is survived by his loving wife, Manuela L. Esquivel of Brownsville; a daughter, Arminda E. Treviño of Olmito; a son, Alejandro Esquivel Jr. of Brownsville; nieces Julia de la Rosa of Brownsville and Concepcion Garcia of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughters Arminda Elisa and Diana Alexandra Treviño; as well as other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2006, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Chapel service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 24, 2006, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Committal Service to follow at 3 p.m. at Buena Vista Burial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, cemeteries, mausoleums, and crematory, 125 McDavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Texas, 78521, (956) 541-5400.
