She was born on September 25, 1925 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas to Jose J. Martinez (deceased) and Sarah Gutierrez de Lara de Martinez (deceased). She is survived by her husband, Emilio Crixell; her children, Elsa, Sarah, Emilio and David; and her granddaughters, Jolene Maria and Patricia Isabel. The holy rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25th at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.
