Guerrero, 81, of Brownsville, entered into eternal rest on Sept. 2, 2006, in San Antonio. Manuela was born in Brownsville, on May 27, 1925, to Ignacio Treviño and Isabel Loya. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Manuel P. Guerrero, Sr., a son, Antonio T. Guerrero, a daughter-in-law, Rosaura "Rose" L. Guerrero, a brother, Raul T. Cuellar, two sisters-in-law, Maria Cuellar and Elodia Buitron and by a brother-in-law, Antonio Guerrero. She is survived by her two sons, Manuel T. Guerrero, Jr. (Linda) of Brownsville, and Ruben T. Guerrero (Hermelinda), two daughters, Isabel G. Delgado (Juan) and Mary "Janie" Guerrero all of San Antonio, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. today, Tuesday with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., in the Darling-Mouser Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be he 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park. Pallbearers will be Manny R. OPAL PAULINE BACIGALUPO Opal Pauline Bacigalupo, age 89, formerly of 612 Mountain View Road, Johnson City, Tenn., died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Primacy Health Care in Memphis, Tenn. She was a native of Brownsville, Texas and had lived in Johnson City, Tenn. from 1977 until entering Primacy Health Care three years ago. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie A. Parks and the late Elizabeth Darthula Boggs. Mrs. Bacigalupo was a member of Central Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Bacigalupo, Jr.; a daughter, Carolyn Skelton; one brother, Jerry Parks and one sister Vivian Parks. Survivors are three sons, Bobby E. Nuckolls, Germantown, Tenn.; James Edward Bacigalupo, III, Clayton, N.C.; Tony Bacigalupo, Dyersburg, Tenn.; one sister, Ruby Parks, Brownsville, Texas; nine grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Bacigalupo will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Central Church of Christ. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service. Mr. Tim Hall will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens. RUBEN GUTIERREZ SR. Ruben Gutierrez Sr., 47, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. He was born August 25, 1959, and was a lifelong resident of Brownsville. He was a dedicated police officer and worked in many facets of the police department. He was a Tactical Team Member, Firearms Instructor and Police Trainer. He was an avid hunter, gun collector and was involved in numerous community service projects. He was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, faithful employee and a loyal co-worker. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother; Maria Guerrero Gutierrez, maternal grandparents; Maria and Fernando Guerrero and paternal grandparents; Maria and Gumecindo Gutierrez Sr. He is survived by his wife; Sylvia H.
