Hannah, 59, of Brownsville, husband, father, brother, friend and faithful follower, believer and servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, was called into Glory on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006. Tommy was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany and then requested a tour in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart and Air Medal. He enjoyed several years raising quarter horses in Los Fresnos and Kerrville, Texas, until his return to Brownsville in 1997. He is survived by his loving wife, Sue Hannah of Brownsville; two children, Lisa (Robert) Clive of Brownsville and Cash A. Hannah of Knoxville, Tenn.; three brothers, Bob Hannah of Corpus Christi, Texas, Donald C. (Carla) Hannah of Colleyville, Texas, and Richard A. Hannah of Dallas, Texas; a sister, Judy Hannah of Dallas, Texas; a step-daughter, Joy (Mike) Waller of Brownsville; two grandsons, Sawyer A. Wright and Lancelot Clive; a step-grandson, Austin L. Laurence; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2006, at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 1200 Mackintosh St. Brownsville, Texas. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion, Post 43 Honor Guard at the service. ROSIE WARD LEWIS Rosie Ward Lewis, born Sept. 14, 1929, in Harlingen, Texas, passed away Aug. 21, 2006, in Austin, Texas, following a brief illness. Rosie is survived by her daughter, Jamie (Bill) Lewis Towns of San Antonio; and a son, Travis (Liz) Lewis of Austin; grandchildren Graham C. Towns, Sienna L. Towns, Leah Rose Lewis and Joanne Myler; brothers Leslie B. (Betty) Ward Jr. and Albert T. (Nancy) Ward; a sister, Barbara (Jack) Walker; sister-in-law Isabel Ward; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Lula Ward and Leslie Ward Sr.; a son, Cooper Lewis; and brother, Joseph "Zip" Ward. Rosie was raised in Brownsville, Texas, and graduated from Brownsville High School in 1947. She was named Football Sweetheart for three consecutive years and was an accomplished pianist and clarinet player. She attended Texas Christian University until her marriage to James R. Lewis in 1950. Rosie loved her family, her church, all kinds of music, and her studies of the Bible and Shakespeare. She left this world as she entered it: with gentle dignity. Her sweet and loving spirit will remain in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, at Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church, Austin, Texas.
