KIBBE Word was received here of the death of Dorothy M. Kibbe, 72, of Harlingen, who died Tuesday at Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was a native of Pearsall and had lived in Brownsville from 1940 to 1983. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Sloan, in 1983, and by a brother, Franklin L. Carter, in 1990. Survivors include her husband, Frank Kibbe of Harlingen; one sister, Mrs. T.M. Prescott of Harlingen; one niece, Susan Simmons of Harlingen; and two great nephews, James and Samuel Simmons, both of Harlingen. Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at Mont Meta Memorial Park with the Rev. Bill Beene officiating. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, North Cameron Unit, P.O. Box 1532, Harlingen, Texas 78552.
