    3. I will be posting extractions of several news articles and obituaries. Most do not have a newspaper name, many are undated. I am not related to many of these families. hand-dated 6-18-92 Pete Walker, Sr. Pete Walker, Sr. died Thursday afternoon at the Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Walker was born in Dilly, Texas, but he lived in Brownsville for most of his life. Walker served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He warked at the J.G. Philen Shipping Co. in Brownsville for 21 years. Survivors include his wife, Doris J. Walker of Brownsville; two sons, Pete Walker, Jr. of Georgetown, Texas, and Michael Walker of Houston; a daughter, Beverly Hansen of Georgetown, Texas; a brother, Jack Walker of San Benito; six grandchildren and a great-grandson. Visitation will be today from 1-9 p.m. at the Darling-Mouser Funeral Home, 945 Palm Blvd. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at the Rose Lawn Memorial Gardents (sic) with Pastor Patrick Trobaugh officiating.
