Punch and coffee were served from a large table which held a silver coffee service and crystal punch bowl. In the houseparty were Janice Whisenant and Mrs. Sally Mungle, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, serving punch; Mrs. Joy Lunsford, sister of the bride, coffee; Mrs. Ethel Allison, aunt of the bride, Mrs. Phoebe Lind, her sister, and Miss Christine Allison cousin, served cake. In the receiving line with the newlyweds were their parents and Mrs. Betty Hollie, Misses Linda and Dee Allison and Miss Laura Sue Lind. The bride's mother wore a pale pink silk shantung sheath with bell sleeves and a scoop neckline. Her accessories were black and her corsage was of pink carnations. The bridegroom's mother wore a three-piece suit of orchid and purple with purple and beige accessories, and she also wore pink carnations. SCHOOLS The bride attended Texas Southmost college, is a member of Beta Sigma Phi society, and has been employed as a secretary. Mr. Mungle was graduated from El Paso Tech, atended (sic) Texas Southmost college and is employed at United States Industry in Pasadena. He is South Texas drag racing champion. Miss Allison was honored with a personal shower before her marriage, hosted by Mrs. Mary Roberson and Mrs. Mary King. She was again honored at a shower, given by Mrs. Marie Hagod (sic) and Mrs. Brenda Crow. Fore (sic) the honeymon (sic) trip the couple went to Cloudcroft, N.M. They will live at 2401 Southmore, Pasadena. For going away the bide wore a suit in avacado (sic) green and blue blend. Her accessories were avacado (sic) and she wore a white orchid corsage.
