RICHARD TERRY CASEY, 69, of South Padre Island, passed away on Feb. 24, 2006, at his residence. ANTONIO GONZALES IV, 23, of San Benito passed away on Feb. 26, 2006, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen. MARIA ESPERANZA GAMBOA Maria Esperanza Gamboa, 76, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2006, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Luis Cantu; parents Manuel Gamboa and Felipa Perez de Gamboa; one son, Erasmo Gamboa; and one daughter, Amanda Lee Gamboa Mrs. Gamboa is survived by her children, Hilda Barrajas, Felipe Cantu (Elia), Yolanda Cantu, Lucila Cantu, Maria Luisa Cantu Rubio (Guadalupe), Sergio Gamboa, Enrique Gamboa and Carlota Aguirre; three brothers, Manuel Gamboa, Equiterio Gamboa and Carlos Gamboa; and one sister, Constancia Gamboa. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive Mrs. Gamboa. Visitations were held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and a holy rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2006, at Guerra Funeral Home Chapel of the Holy Family. Visitations will resume at 9 a.m. with a 2 p.m. funeral service with Deacon Felipe Treviño officiating today, Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Guerra Funeral Home Chapel of the Holy Family.
