The Brownsville Herald, Wednesday, May 25, 1988 DANIEL KILLION Daniel Thomas "Dan" Killion, 90, died Monday at Rio Grande Manor Nursing Home. Born in Calahan Co., Texas, he had been a resident of Brownsville since 1943. He was an active member of Central Christian Church where he served as an elder and deacon. Survivors include his wife, Rena M. Killion; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Nora Faye) Hockaday and Mrs. Robert (Eva Lea) Baker all of Brownsville; a brother, Jack Killion of Cottonwood, Ariz.; three sisters, Lea Kimbrough of Breckenridge, Texas, Peggy Eaves of Altus, Okla., and Ella Mae Davis of Ardmore, Okla., five grandchildren, including Sandra Merrill, Linda Hemphill, Lisa and Robby Baker all of Brownsville and Shirley Butler of Raymondville, a great-grandson of Brownsville, numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home Chapel, 945 Palm Blvd. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Darling-Mouser Funeral Home Chapel, 945 Palm Blvd. with Dr. Melvin Newland and the Rev. Wilbur Aten officiating with interment at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Dick Baker, Ken Copenhaver, David Hughston, Dr. Lee Dale Jones, David Wamsley and Lloyd Johnston.
