Betrothal told The engagement of Miss Joanna Ruth Roberson and Noel Eldon Dill was announced at a dinner given by her mother, Mrs. J. B. Roberson, Central Avenue, at their home. Mr. Dill is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Dill of Luling. The wedding will be on January 22 in the First Assembly of God church in Brownsville. Mrs. Roberson was assisted by her daughter, Mary, in giving the dinner party, and they used green, white and gold in the table decorations and corsages. Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Sens of Pharr; Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Backer of Cabot, Ark., and Mrs. J. B. Dill. (K. Welch Studio)
