SANDRA RUTH HAGOOD Sandra Ruth "Sonnie" Hagood, 57, of Muskogee, Okla., died Monday, July 22, 1996, in Muskogee. She was born in Laurel, Del., and lived in Salisbury, Md., where she enjoyed the beauty of the Atlantic Ocean and was avidly involved in the sport of competitive roller skating. She married Royce Hagood and for the last 18 years of their 22 years together in ministry, they pastored the congregation of Lighthouse Assembly of God in Port Isabel. She is survived by her husband, Royce Hagood of Muskogee; a daughter, Jackie Myers of Muskogee; a son, Chris Hagood of Mound, Minn.; her mother, Evelyn Groton of Salisbury; a brother, Richard of Salisbury and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at First Assembly of God in Brownsville with the Rev.. Chuck Myers and Rev. Jesse Sellers officiating,. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Cecil Moses, Joe Cavazos, Rudy Garza, Mike Hatley, Bob Harris and Vidal Mendoza. Honorary pallbearers will be the ministers of the Rio Grande Valley Assemblies of God.
