Dodd married Blanton/Glanton Smith Dodd. Children were George Emmett, Franklin, William G. William G. Dodd could still be living. Father and mother of Blanton/Glanton Smith Dodd was Frank and Sebbie A. Smith. Frank named Franklin was born about 1848 in MS. His parents were William and Elizabeth Smith for whom Smithville, Texas is named after. Smithville is just east of Austin, Texas. I am trying to connect my grandfather to this family as a brother of this Frank Smith, William R. Smith had a son named Henry in McLennan County Texas on June 1, 1880 named Henry.
