    3. The Brownsville Herald - Online Edition OBITUARIES Obituaries, February 19, 2006 JOSE V. BOCANEGRA, 71, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, at Valley Baptist Medical Center. A visitation with cremation was held on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006, at Delta Chapel, a memorial service will be set at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Delta Funeral Directors, 1300 East Harrison St., (956) 542-2222. GREGORIA CASARES RODRIGUEZ Gregoria Casares Rodriguez, 65, passed away Friday evening at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. Mrs. Rodriguez was a resident of Brownsville for the past 25 years. She was formerly of Matamoros, Tamps. She was a patient of the Brownsville Kidney Center for 15 years. Survivors include: husband, Heriberto Rodriguez; five sons, Oscar Rodriguez, Andres Rodriguez, Marcos Rodriguez, Heriberto Rodriguez and Heriberto Rodriguez Reyna; and three daughters, Ainede Cabrera, Nidia Vela and Gloria Ortiz. Mrs. Rodriguez was preceded in death by a son, Margarito Rodriguez. Funeral services will be held in Matamoros, Tamps., at Escobedo F.H. on Monday. Local arrangements are under the direction of Delta Funeral Directors, (956) 542-2222. FRANCISCA VALLEJO Francisca Vallejo, 84, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006, at Ebony Lake Nursing Home. She was a native and life-long Brownsville resident. Her parents, Jose Merced and Dolores Vallejo; her sisters, Martha and Margarita Vallejo, Gumecinda Meza and Herminia V. Castillo; her brothers, Telesforo, Candido and Senovio Vallejo, preceded in death. She is survived by her sister, Juanita Garza of San Antonio, Texas, and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation and rosary were held Saturday, February 18, 2006, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held today, Sunday, February 19, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Bruno Cedillo officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. HILDA CELIA BUENROSTRO Hilda Celia Buenrostro, 62, entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 17, 2006, in Brownsville, Texas. She was born at El Rancho La Rosita. Mrs. Buenrostro is predeceased by her father, Rafael Garza; mother, Maria Guadalupe Martinez Garza; and one grandson, Ivan Buenrostro. Left behind to cherish her memories are her husband, Juan G. Buenrostro; six sons, Leoncio G. (Marina), Luciano (Jackie), Juan A. (Letty), Marco A. (Ana Lisa), Hector (Anita) and Jesus Adrian Buenrostro; one daughter, Hilda C. Gonzalez (Benancio Jr.); one stepdaughter, Virginia Guerra (Nick); 25 wonderful grandchildren; and two beautiful great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Alberto and Rafael Garza Jr.; three sisters, Elsa Rendon, Delia Lugo and Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez. Visitation was held yesterday, Saturday, February 18, 2006, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Rosary was also recited yesterday, Saturday, February 18, 2006, at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Visitation will resume today, Sunday, February 19, 2006, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated tomorrow, Monday, February 20, 2006, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Committal Service will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
