She was a native of Villa Gonzalez, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and a Brownsville resident. Raga was transferred to Villa Gonzalez for funeral services and burial. Obituaries HERMINIO VELASQUEZ Hermino Velasquez, 65, went into eternal peace Saturday morning, May 6, 2006, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville. He was preceded in death by Ninfa R. Ortiz de Velasquez. He will be missed by his children, Julio (Esmeralda) Velasquez, Lorena (Gerber Rivas), Jaime (Aman-da), Veronica Velasquez, Patricia (Rodrigo) Rodriguez, Herminio Velasquez Jr., Noe Velásquez, Mario Velásquez and Michelle Velásquez. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Agapito, Micaela, Reyes, Marta Solis, Luis Velásquez, Jose Velásquez and Ubaldo Velásquez, and 22 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held today, May 7, 2006, from 1 p.m.-9 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. A Mass will be held Monday, May 8, 2006, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church. GARZA JR. Roberto S. Garza Jr., 66, passed into God's hands on Saturday, May 06, 2006, at Valley Regional Medi-cal Center. He was born on September 6, 1939, raised and died in Brownsville, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Roberto Garza Sr., and mother Maria de los Angeles S. Garza. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years of marriage, Ramona R. Garza. He is also survived by his loving daughters Letty G. Olvera, Nelda G. (Ruben) Ybarra, Angie G. (Luis) Cazares and Irene Garza; his three brothers, Ricardo Garza, Juan Garza and Mario Garza. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Olvera, Ruben Ybarra Jr., Jesse Robert Olvera and Luis Cazares III and one great-grandchild Ruben Ybarra III. Visitation will be held Monday, May 8, 2006, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2006, at Christ the King Catholic Church with internment to follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be Ruben Ybarra Sr., Ruben Ybarra Jr., Jesse Robert Olvera, Jason Cantu, Luis Cazares and Jesus G. Olvera. Photo ANTONIO GARCIA Antonio Garcia, 67, passed into God's hands on Tuesday, April 11, 2006, in Chicago, Illinois. He was born January 22, 1939, in Brownsville, Texas. He had resided in Chicago before he passed on. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria C. Mata, and one uncle Silverio Mata. Antonio is survived by his mother, Barbarita Mata; a sister, Irma Saldivar; one uncle, Ignacio Mata; cousins Valentin, Marisela M ata, Julia Guillen; four children, Perla, Joel Antonio, Tony and Esmeralda Garcia; and numerous nieces and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, May 8, 2006, at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Church. Arrangements were under the direction of Delta Funeral Directors, 1300 E.
