She was born on Jan. 17, 1961, in Washington, D.C. Yvonne "Evie" graduated from Pace High School and received a BBA degree from The University of Texas at Austin. She was preceded in death by her father, Tancredo J. Barradas. Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Jean Akin of San Diego; her mother, Margarita C. Barradas; and niece, Meredith O'Neal of Houston, Texas. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2420 Westheimer, Houston, Texas. Camacho, 66, passed into God's hands on Wednesday, May 22, 2006, at 844 W. Price Road in Brownsville. He was a life-long resident of Port Isabel. He is survived by his six brothers, Lorenzo Z. Medrano, Isaac C. (Corina) Camacho, Quirino Z. Camacho, Frank Z. (Rachael) Camacho, Lucio Z. (Elvira) Camacho and Domingo Z. (Carmen) Camacho; four sisters, Herlinda Z. (Ernest) Lock, Maria Cirilda (Ricardo) Bella, Amalia Camacho,and Lydia (Frank) Heald; a sister-in-law, Ursula Camacho; numerous nieces and nephews. Adan is preceded in death by his father, Gilberto R. Camacho; his mother, Simona Zurita; two brothers, Jesus Medrano and Cruz Camacho; and his twin sister, Eva Camacho. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at Delta Funeral Directors. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2006, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to charity of donor's choice.
