A holy rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, 2006, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos. Burial will follow at Los Cuates Cemetery. Zavala, 94, passed away on Friday, Aug. 18, 2006 at her daughter's residence in Brownsville. Mrs. Zavala was a Brownsville resident since 1964. Survivors include two daughters, Maria Luisa Mena and Francisca Gonzalez; six sons, Jose Angel Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez, Jose Rodriguez, Rosalio Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, and Guadalupe Rodriguez; 48 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, at Delta Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. NORMA HANSON Norma Hanson was born on June 16, 1921 and went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, afternoon, Aug. 15, 2006. She was 85 years old. Norma was a Winter Texan for more than 10 years with her husband, Wesley, who preceded her in death in 1998 after 56 years of marriage. They have two sons, Phil of Washington State and Paul of Brownsville. Norma was a devout Christian all her life and dedicated her son Paul to missionary work. She lived her entire life in Wenatchee, Wash. She was the secretary to the supervisor of the public schools, Republican Party precinct official and a member of the Chris-tian and Missionary Alliance Church for 80 years. She and her husband were faithful supporters for more than 30 years of Valley Christian High School High School of Brownsville of which their younger son is principal. They wintered in Brownsville to be with their son's family. While living here they attended Church of the Good Shepherd and Vineyard. Besides her two sons, Norma is survived by one brother, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her memorial service was Friday afternoon at Telfords Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee, Wash. In lieu of flowers, dona-tions in her honor can be made to Valley Christian High School, P.O.
