HUGH EUGENE "JACK" WOLCOTT Hugh Eugene "Jack" Wolcott, 86, left this earth Sunday, July 9, 2006. He passed away at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen surrounded by his family. Jack was born in Lakota, Iowa on Jan. 20, 1920 to Ethel Peshia and Lawrence Wolcott. Jack and his wife Marge moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 1960, residing first in Brownsville. They lived in Los Fresnos since 1972. Jack owned South Texas By-Products Company for many years and was an active member and respected businessman of the Los Fresnos Community. Serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II he was assigned to the meat packing unit in Spokane, Wash. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; mother, Ethel Peshia Wolcott; father, Lawrence Wolcott and eight of 10 brothers and sisters. Jack is survived by his sister, Maxine Wolcott Harvey; brother, Don Wolcott; daughter, Donna Wolcott Bressler (Joe) of Rancho Viejo; son, Jack C. (Chuck) Wolcott (Irma) of Port Isabel; grandchildren, Kenneth B. Wolcott (Linda) of Los Fresnos, Mark C. Wolcott of Bronston, Ky., Melissa Bressler Karl (Michael) of Portland, Texas; seven great-grandchildren, Bryan, Aaron, Amber, Ashley, Christopher, Rebekah, David and numerous nieces and nephews. His guidance and commitment to family will be greatly missed and now will be with the Lord forever and reunited with his wife of 65 years, Marjorie. Mr. Rios is survived by his loving wife of 52 years of marriage, Anita M. Rios; six sons, Guadalupe Rios Jr., Jorge Rios, Agustin (Olga) Rios, Isidro Rios, Cisto (Imelda) Rios and Juan Rios; six daughters, Ana Maria (Alfonso) Mata, Gloria Luisa (Ricardo) Alvarado, Elida Rios, Elvira Rios, Sonia (Cleofas) Negrete and Leticia Rios; grandchildren, Guadalupe Jr., Roseane, Jessica, Marcos, Agustin Jr., Kimberly Brenda, Isidro Jr., Isidro II, Ivy, Eva, Amy, Cristo Jr., April, Moses, Israel, Abreham, Sylvia, Raymond, Ricky Eli, James, Liliana, Jose, Luis, Danny, Monica, Tony, Alfonso Cynthia, Sabrina, Veronica, Jose Alvaro, Jesus Rios, Maria Antonia, Humberto, Stephanie and Ashley.
