Lane on the 1900 Callahan Co. census. It list his wife as Julia and 4 children, Hugh, Emma, Ellen and John. I feel there was an older child not listed on the census with H.C.(child possibly in his late twenty's). If anyone has information on this family please contact me at osmith51@msn.com. Also, there was a J.Lane listed as a deputy sheriff. I would also like information on him.
