Eula is a community that no longer exists, I think, in Callahan County. The family my grandmother was in came from Pontotoc County, Mississippi between 1905-1907. My Dad was born in Clyde. The family was in the Baird area. My grandmother was Vera Vern Park. Her first marriage was to Ernest Price. She later married L.C. Beaty, Jr. I found an Ernest Price in Martin County, Stanton area, Texas in an early 1900-1920 census. We do not know if the first marriage dissolved or if Ernest Price died. The matter was kept secret from my Dad.
