Good morning all! Received from the Office of the County Clerk, Caldwell Co, for the grand fee of $1.00 - Clerk's Cert. No. 108 Shows license issued 14 Oct 1855 by John B. McMAHON, Clerk, to DAVID S. HALSEL and GATZY J. JOINER Married by I. H. WELLS Minister of the Gospel, 18 Oct 1855 and returned to the Clerk 19 Oct 1855. I would be *most* grateful for any information about Gatzy - or David for that matter! He apparently had another wife after Gatzy, who may, or may not :-))) have left him. Regards,
