Hi Carol I was able to get a copy of the "found" marriage licenses for my gr-grandfather Isaac J Clark and Elizabeth Butler Jan 1853. The historical society told me it was $1.00. But I sent a check for $11.00 just in case there was an additional charge. The county clerk sent my check back and I had to send $1.00. But I was so happy when I got the marriage licence. I am not connected with Caldwell Co. or a member of their society. Just a fellow researcher looking for lost ansestors.
