Cordelia "Dora" Carrigan Green Jan 21, 1886 - Jan 15, 1926 The fourth child and third daughter of John Edward and Lavinia Inch Carrigan, Cordelia (also known as Delia, Dee or Dora) married Burton J. Maxey 09 Mar 1913 in Lampasas County. They had one son, Randolph (named for Cordelia's brother) Brooken Maxey, born in 1914. Apparently Burton Maxey died some time before 1917, because Cordelia married David W. "Dave" Green on 22 May 1917 in Lampasas County as his second wife. When Cordelia died of heart trouble in 1926, her son Brooken lived for a time with his stepfather Dave Green and Mr. Green's third wife, Mary (evidence of 1930 Federal Census). Cordelia's death certificate (signed by husband Dave Green) indicates she was buried in Lometa, but does not specify which cemetery. I have speculated she is buried in Center Cemetery since second husband Dave is buried there. If anyone knows differently, I'd appreciate knowing!
