Culbertson) business partner in Dalhart, Texas. They ranched west of Dalhart and had the largest registered cattle herd in existence. They dissolved the partnership in 1939 as Uncle Dick was a good bit older than my grandfather and his health was failing. I know he was still alive in 1941 because we have a copy of a letter from Jesse Jones, a close friend of his and Roosevelt's Secretary of Commerce, congratulating him on his 80th birthday.
