Yes, the Burnet County Brand Book is in tact and available at the County Clerk's Office. I found my great great grandfather's brand registered in the book several years ago. I found a book of brands at the Williamson County Courthouse -- maybe the Burnet County Courthouse is the place to start for brands. The Wmson County book had drawings, types of livestock, placement of the brand -- rich, rich stuff.
