Those researchers did not know about Alice. Isaac Green and Solomon Rollins were 2 of the founders of the Ravens Branch Church of Christ. Apparently, Lawson went Disciples of Christ while the rest remained Church of Christ. Therefore, Rhoda's brothers would not let Lawson marry her. When she got pregnant, the brothers came after him. He went to Texas, where his sister's family lived. I have been gradually piecing together Lawson's whereabouts and his life. He was an interesting character.
