I know his full name is William Edward Cox and was born about 1818 in South Carolina or Alabama and arrived in Texas in 1846 to fight the Mexican War. He settled in Burleson County around that time and met Miss Cordelia Watson - I think November 2, 1848 but I need to confirm this. She was from Newton County, Georgia and her family came to around 1839. I am looking for any other information regarding this family and about the Cox Family.
