My ancestors, William L. and Ivah Wells HENDLEY settled there in the early 1840's but moved to Independence by 1847. According to a family record written in 1944, this place was still known as Hendley's Hill at that time. I am not able to locate it via the US GNIS server. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
