He was 83. He served in the Army Air Force during WWII. Originally from Dime Box, Burleson, Texas, John moved to Oklahoma City after his marriage, in 1945 to Dorothy Virginia Wolfe who has preceded him in death in 1986. They were married for 41 years. Son John, of Oklahoma City, and daughter Carol Ann Blaha, of Prague, OK, survive him. He is also survived by his four sisters, Milady Hejl, Gladys Ricks, Evelyn Wiederhold, and Dorothy Jean Davis all of Texas. Johnny was a member of the Plumbers Union of Oklahoma for 40 years. John was a member of the Sooner Racing Pigeon Club for many years. Graveside services will be at Rose Hill Cemetery, Thursday at 2:00 pm.
