He was said to have been the first physician here in Brundidge, Ala. (Pike County), which would have been in the early 1850's. Records here show that by 1858, he was living in Caldwell, Texas, and I see his name in the 1860 Texas Census Index as still living in Burleson County. His wife was Eugenia Shaw.
