This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Lucas Hilliard Brymer Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EhB.2ACE/1139.1 Message Board Post: I don't have any info on John. T. Brymer, but I was just recently down at Caldwell and went to the Masonic Cemetery there as well as the cemetery at Porter's Chapel. There are many Brymers buried at both cemeteries. A.R. Brymer, born May 1, 1813, died Jan. 31, 1891 and his wife Vashti, born Jan. 22, died May 24, 1884 are both buried at Porter's Chapel. Amos S., son of A & V Brymer, born Dec. 6, 1856, died Mar. 28, 1879 is also buried at Porter's Chapel. Some of my Hilliards and Lucas family married Brymers. Edward Brymer first married Fances A. Lucas and after her death he married Tilithy Frances Hilliard. Frances A. Lucas was the sister of my great grandfather James L. Lucas. Tilithy Frances Hilliard was the daughter of John McGruder Hilliard and the half sister of my great grandmother Emily Jane Hilliard. Emily Jane Hilliard married James L. Lucas in 1878 after the death of his first wife who was Parathene Angeline Brymer. As you can see, this gets a little confusing. You can go to this site to view a list of folks buried at Porter's Chapel. http://www.rootsweb.com/~txburles/Porter.html. I can't remember if there is a list for the Masonic Cemetery or not, but you might try doing a search for it. If you are interested, I took photos of many of the headstones at both cemeteries and I would be glad to send you copies via email. If you'll check over the cemetery lists and let me know which ones you want I'll get them off to you. I do know that I have headstone photos for A. R. and Vashti Brymer and their son Amos S. Brymer. I didn't get all the photos taken that I wanted to at the Masonic Cemetery, so will have to go back and finish that up another time. I hope this was a little help...Jo Ellen (Powell) Jester
