Surnames: Bankston, Singleton, Price Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EhB.2ACE/1133 Message Board Post: My great grandparents were James Monroe Bankston and Susan M. Singleton married in 1885 in Milam County and then moved to Burleson County where James was buried in 1950 and Susan in 1936 or 1937. My grandfather Jim Dave Bankston was born there in 1893 and married Serena Ella Price and move to Mason, Texas where they both died. I can find nothing on either Susan or Serena and my mother doesn't know anything about her mother's family. Since I live in Canada it is hard to do any "physical" searching and so far have found only one mention of my grandmother and they had her name wrong (Rennie). James's brother Thomas married Sissie Singleton, possibly Susan's sister??
