Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/EhB.2ACE/512.514.1.1 Message Board Post: Ms. Maxwell, Thank you SO MUCH for the quick response! It's usually weeks or never that I get a reply! I am the great-grandaughter of James Frank and Lettie Cox. I called them 'Mamaw and Papaw'. My grandfather was Paschall Cox and my mother is Debra Louise Cox. She is the only grandchild of Frank and Lettie. I don't know how much you know about Frank's brother's and sister's - but I have everything you can imagine on them - even their childrens' information. I was tracing back the Cox's and I can only get as far as JW's dad - but his mom goes back to the Watsons', of course. I have a paper copy of JW and Jennie's marriage license - I was hoping to get one of William and Cordelia's, but so far no luck. It's really neat that I can go back to the McIver's for Jennie's family. I am stuck when it comes to JW's dad. Now more about me - I was born August 14, 1972 in Goldsboro, NC on the Seymour-Johnson AirForce Base. I have a brother Sean Riegle, who was born May 17, 1974 in Wichita Falls, Tx at Shepherd AirForce Base. He is now a State Trooper in Arkansas - I am very proud of him. I live in Hagerstown, MD with my husband, Brent Stultz. Just let me know what info you need and I will be more than happy to pass it along! Thanks! Jennifer

I know his full name is William Edward Cox and was born about 1818 in South Carolina or Alabama and arrived in Texas in 1846 to fight the Mexican War. He settled in Burleson County around that time and met Miss Cordelia Watson - I think November 2, 1848 but I need to confirm this. She was from Newton County, Georgia and her family came to around 1839. I am looking for any other information regarding this family and about the Cox Family. Anything at this point would be grateful! Thanks, Jennifer

Story goes that GR.GM warned her children and grandchildren away from some cave in the Mill Springs area of Wayne Co., MO--due to supposedly some of the gangs who robbed trains stashed their goods there...and maybe my Eades/Eads/Collins ancestors were involved as members of the gang? I really have no other info.-one of my older brothers says he vaguely remembers hearing whispered stories when he was a very young child in the 1950's, but other than this we really have no idea!! Just wondering if you know any more about this since your posting? And, if you've ever heard of Eads/Collins links to the Gads Hill robbery or any of the other robb! eries linked to the Jesse James or other gangs?

Perhaps someone will have one or more of these issues and would be willing to share with the museum, society or copy obits, births, marriages from them to share those instead. Good luck. Linda Houck
