Dear Gatekeepers to the Past ,       I am Evelyn in Texas . My grandmother was Laura Harrell . Daughter of Ephraim Harrell  E.H. ( Ephraim ) Harrell was born 1820-1825 in GA. His parents were born in North  or South Carolina  , possibly. Census records & family memories are conflicting. My dad never met his grandparents. I never met any of my grandparents. We knew nothing on the family. Their name was unknown to all family members. We got our grandmother's death certificate and it had E. H.  Harrell listed as her Father . This information was the only information that we found . We only knew of Grandmother & her brother Lafayette Harrell , I checked  records & found my grandmother on the 1880 Census of Robertson County , Texas , 1860 census & 1850 census in Jasper County, Texas. Ephraim married Elinas Anna ? . Anna was born about 1830 in MS. Ephraim & Anna's  children were known to be: Laura born 1867   Lizzie born 1870 Lafayette born 1874 Mary Jane born 1860 Melvina born 1862 Joe born 1864 Thomas Hennin born 1848 John I . born 1850 Benjamin born 1855 Mary born 1857 Susannah born 1852 .
