It was 3am when I posted that. I was trying to confirm if this was the same woman as my great-grandmother. My great-grandmother, Elizabeth Franklin married my great-grandfather Jonathan Howton in Mississippi about 1877. They had 2 children in Mississippi, migrated thru Arkansas and was in Lamar county, Texas in 1900. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I wrote down some information about a lady named Elizabeth Howton who died in Brown county while at a library here in houston quite a while ago. I forgot to write the source. I just thought I'd post a query as a shot in the dark. My Howtons made it to Sabine county (East Texas) between 1900 & 1910, but I thought I'd look into this just in case. Thanks for your time and patience.
