There is a J.H. Roberts buried in the Roberts-Baugh Cemetery in northern Brown county. Roberts, J.H. 23 August ???---March 1879 , Nancy A. 23 January 1850--March 1879 (Martha Anderson married (1) Mr. Roberts, they had two children buried here. She later married a mr Anderson.) (Three unidentified scattered graves; one buried by John Roberts.) Roberts, John W. s/W.A. & M.A. 13 January 1878---22 August 1878 Roberts, Charlie, s/W.A. & M.A. 20 October 1882---22 March 1884 (One unidentified by Charlie Roberts, possible this is Amos Roberts 1850--1886) (One unidentified adult, rock wall and slab covered) Have this reference to Dovie Strawn RobertsT. S. Strawn came to Brown Co. in 1871 and pre-empted some land on which he built a log cabin, where many dances and parties were held. Two of the boys were good musicians. The following records are from the family bible; Grandparents Thomas Stocton Strawn Sarah Jane (Reynolds) Strawn Children James Washington Strawn William (Will) Strawn Thomas (Tommy) Strawn Dovie Strawn Roberts Millie Strawn Wallace Sattie Strawn Crisp Have these two families in the same area in 1870, but don't know if they are related.
