You have sent me some great information on the Davidsons. I had George Clayton but didn't have all the children. Where did you find this information. In your second generation you listed WIlliam C. and Mary A. as children of David Martin and Matilda and they are the children of David Martin and a wife named L.J. whom I've not been able to find out anything about. He and L.J. had Tennessee, Eliza, James and Texanna (who is buried at Wolf Valley) David and Matilda had four children, David M. and Heneritta who are buried at Wolf Valley and my grandfather, George Wesley, and Joseph. Matilda had two children prior to marrying David M., William C. and Mahala. I have been able to locate this family and have established Matilda's Eastern Cherokee connection. I have not been able to find a connection between your Jacksons and the Davidsons. The M. Elizabeth Duke probably will be related to Matilda's first husband and I can give you the name of the Dukes who are doing research on that side of the family if you would like. Let me know.
