Prentice Ralph E. Prentice, a resident of Kelseyville, passed away on March 25, 1979 at Letterman General Hospital in San Francisco after a long illness. Mr. Prentice was 83 years of age and was a native of Texas. He retired in 1956 as a Navy Commander after 29 years as officer with the 12 Naval District and was a Past Master of Chateau Thierry Lodge of Oakland, past commander of American Legion post 471 of Oakland, member of Aahmes Shrine of Oakland, Scottish Rite of Oakland, Sheriff Lake Patrol, and Shrine Club of Lake County. Survivors include his wife, M. Jean Prentice, of Kelseyville; daughter, Donna Gregorio of Redwood City; son, Jon E. Bryngelson of Red Bluff; brothers, Noble and Max, and sister, Marjorie Cade, all of Texas. Memorial services will be held today (Wednesday) at White Oaks Chapel in San Carlos with internment at Evergreen Cemetery in Oakland.
