Sides son of Johann Sides and Matilda Hitchcock Sides; John William Sides and Sarah Temperance Smithhart Smith, John William and Sarah were my greatgrandparents. As I was reading some family history notes this afternoon I found where there were some families in Brown and Commanche Counties. I have some information and will gladly share what I have. Juanita, None of your Sides names ring a bell with me. There were a great many Sides folks in Erath Co. and Van Zandt Co, Texas, who apparently are not related to my people. They show up on the census for those counties.
