    1. Re: [TXBROWN] Eliza Paralee Carver Hanks
    2. Here's some of what I Know about my Grandfather, William Carver. He used WM Carver, He has no past, that I can find, other than what has been told to me by his son, my Dad. I have been looking for eight plus years and my Dad tried to find the Family before he died, as he had never met any of his Dad's folks. William Wesley Carver bn guess-1878 White County, Arkansas When my Dad ask him about his family, he told my Dad that he had a sister. Their parents had died from a flu outbreak and they were sent to live with an Aunt. The Parents were suppose to have died on the same day. I have turned this everyway I can and, have found some pretty interesting facts. One thing my Dad told me before he past away was to check out the Black Jack Gang. So I started reading books to see if I could find anything. Through those books I have found this: and more. Carl Livingston who wrote about the Outlaw Will Carver and I qoute, had to have inside information-Carl Livingston is my Granmothers Cousin, she married William Wesley Carver in 1905. My Grandfather told my Dad he had Family that was from around Brown County, Texas. When I check the census there, Listed 1860 is William R. Carver, wife and Family. John Eaton wrote a book, I believe it was called OUTLAW WILL CARVER-out of print. Samuel Eaton married my GGreat Aunt in MO. They had a son named John Eaton, Could there be a connection to John who wrote a book? 1910 Census show my Grandparents and my Aunt and Uncle, Dad not yet bn. Living in same Town on 1910 Census is a John Carver, wife Althea See/Seay and Daughter Jewel. I have posted and posted, when I respond about my Family, only few ansewer back. My Grandfather died in NM in 1935.-There is a story about Streeter and Coon, having a lady walk up to them a funeral in NM and telling him about her husband who recently died. She ask about Vic Button. Vic Button stated, he thought it was Will Carver, outlaw writers say it's impossible. I believe the man Knew the name, eighter by looking for himself or the lady telling him. He said the lady was small, my Grandmother was about 110 lbs. Six months before my Granfather died he attended a Funeral of one of his Family members, according to my Mother, still living, when I check I find that six months before my Grandfather died Frances Carver-outlaws sister dies, and she is living about 120 miles from where my Grandparents are in NM. I have one picture of my Grandfather a couple of years before he died, though he would never allow pictures to be taken, my Aunt snapped it without him knowing. A detective here in Spokane compared his picture to one I have of the outlaw and said, because of age difference, he could'nt say they were the same person, but he did say, due to the bone structure, he could say, they were related. I did'nt tell this detective that one was of the outlaw, till after he compared them. I don't want to be unsure when telling somone something, because I know how hard it is to find the truth. I have tons of files that I have collected looking for my Grandfather Carver'Family. My Livingston's back to Scottland My Davis-Al-TX-NM My Bullock's back to England My Carver's - Still seeking I know you were'nt looking for all this info, but I thought it might help if I explained alittle. I believe I have McDonald's in my Bullock Family, Do you have Bullock? They are from Maryland, North Carolina, Mo. Texas, New Mexico, California Hope your not sorry you ask, :) Carolyn in Spokane
